The Milwaukee Brewers will seem to react after a campaign. The Padres place a halt to a six-game losing streak in Miller Park with a 2-1 loss. Adrian Houser had a Wonderful night for the Brewers. He went 5 innings with 3 hits and two earned runs . The bullpen managed to keep the Brewers from the game also, but the bats didn’t pick it up.
Dinelson Lamet was shining and the Brewers’ offense couldn’t do anything to place water. Lamet allowed only 3 hits and 1-run, with a whopping 14 strikeouts for a career-high. It is a loss for the Brewers and they were lucky to possess the Cincinnati Reds out help. The Cubs were winners with a score of so the Brewers do not lose any ground.
The downer for the Brewers is they had an opportunity to take possession of a wildcard from the National League. The Cubs and Brewers are tied with a listing of 82-70 as it is entering Thursday. The Brewers have not been going away, although without Christian Yelich this can be a great chance for the Cubs to visit the Wild Card Game. Down by three matches to the Cardinals, the door is not closed over the NL Central also.
